About the Role
You will define and direct manufacturing test strategy for complex circuit card assemblies. You will design test approaches spanning optical and X-ray inspection, in-circuit test, boundary scan and functional test. You will set technical criteria, investigate issues, mentor engineers and work with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in manufacturing test for advanced circuit card assemblies
- Knowledge of electronics fundamentals, CCA manufacturing processes and defect mechanisms
- Expertise in JTAG 1149.x boundary scan, iJTAG and embedded or processor-controlled functional test
- Experience architecting, programming and debugging bed-of-nails MDA/ICT and board-level test systems
- Ability to define test methods, evaluation frameworks and technical criteria independently
- Ability to influence engineering disciplines, suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Legal right to work in the UK

- Lead manufacturing test strategy for complex circuit card assemblies
- Improve defect coverage, diagnostic resolution and production quality
- Design test strategies for optical inspection, X-ray inspection, in-circuit test, boundary scan and functional test
- Define test methods, evaluation criteria and technical approaches
- Turn complex issues into decisions for engineering, suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Set technical direction and mentor engineers
