About the Role
You will manage access to the safe and cash movements between the safe and premium-agent accounts. You will reconcile outlets, record treasury transactions, request funds, coordinate cash receipt and dispatch, support customers and agents, resolve operational issues, and guide and mentor Premium Cash Officers.
Requirements
- Work authorization in Malawi
- Strong proficiency in English
- 2+ years of teller or cashier experience in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management, cash handling, delivery, or a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, banking, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Control access to the safe or cash house and manage cash movements
- Perform end-of-day bill counting and daily outlet reconciliation
- Record cash-management transactions in the treasury system
- Request sufficient funds from head office
- Receive and dispatch cash through the Cash In Transit team
- Follow cash-management policies and guidelines
- Escalate and follow up on outlet operational issues
- Monitor agent liquidity and resolve issues
- Support agent and customer needs related to accounts, systems, applications, and physical cards
- Guide and mentor Premium Cash Officers
