About the Role
You will maintain power-system models and budgets, perform electrical studies, establish relay settings and arc-flash labels, develop standard study cases, support commissioning, and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or another engineering discipline
- 3+ years of power-systems design, analysis, and studies experience focused on high-power, high-voltage systems
- Willingness to work on-site in Memphis, Tennessee
- Availability for extended hours, weekends, and 24/7 emergency on-call support
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the Memphis campus power-system model
- Create and maintain power budgets, monitoring, and metering
- Perform electrical power-system analysis and update as-built models
- Develop interconnection studies, relay settings, arc-flash labels, and battery-storage sizing
- Develop standardized study cases
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, NESC, and IEEE standards
