About the Role
You will build and analyse power-delivery-network models across silicon, packages, and PCBs. You will investigate parasitics, stability, droop, resonances, and transient response, then translate results into design recommendations. You will validate simulations with hardware measurements and contribute to design reviews.
Responsibilities
- Build, integrate, and analyse power-delivery-network models
- Use frequency-domain and time-domain analysis to investigate voltage stability and transient response
- Evaluate decoupling choices and placement
- Use electromagnetic simulation to analyse resistance, inductance, coupling, and impedance
- Validate model assumptions, convergence, and physical validity
- Translate findings into recommendations for layout and power and ground distribution
- Document results, identify technical risks, and contribute to design reviews
- Define measurements with test engineers and investigate differences between simulations and hardware
Benefits
- Flexible working
- Generous leave
- Up to 5% matched pension
- Phantom equity
- Free food and on-site barista
- Income protection and life assurance
- Electric vehicle salary-sacrifice scheme
- Optional private medical insurance, dental cover, health cash plan, cycle-to-work scheme, and Give As You Earn
