About the Role
You will design and analyze high- and low-voltage power-electronics systems. You will own hardware development from concept through validation, drive PCB design, perform board testing and HALT testing, lead design reviews, collaborate across disciplines, and manage technical milestones and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- At least 1 year of electrical-engineering experience
- Experience with circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, circuit testing, and debugging
- Familiarity with Altium or equivalent
- Experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and multimeters
- Ability to obtain S//SAR security clearance desired
Responsibilities
- Design high-voltage and low-voltage power systems
- Design DC-DC converters, inverters, motor controllers, batteries, power generation, distribution, and protection systems
- Engineer power systems from under 1 kW to over 10 kW
- Own hardware development from concept through testing and validation
- Drive PCB layout and design
- Design for safety, manufacturability, and reliability
- Perform board bring-up, verification, validation, and HALT testing
- Collaborate throughout the product lifecycle
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional design reviews
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical milestones
