About the Role
You will conduct research on urban planning, transportation, grid integration, sustainability, and resilience. You will develop equity-based planning frameworks, evaluate multi-energy-system integration solutions, create public engagement plans, work with stakeholders and community members, and prepare technical solutions, reports, and visuals for planning projects.
Requirements
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field completed within the last five years
- Complete all degree requirements before starting the appointment
- Submit three letters of reference
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Personal Identity Verification card
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on urban planning, transportation, grid integration, sustainability, and resilience

- Monitor and evaluate multi-energy-system integration solutions for regulatory and standards compliance
