About the Role
You will research and develop advanced, resilient, and durable cement and concrete technologies for construction. You will build experimental setups, conduct laboratory experiments, analyze results, collaborate with multidisciplinary and external researchers, present findings, prepare publications, and assist with proposal development. You will maintain environmental, safety, health, and program compliance.
Requirements
- PhD in chemical engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, materials science or engineering, or a related discipline completed within the last 5 years
- Academic and research record relevant to cementitious-material science and technology
- Knowledge of analytical characterization and performance testing for cementitious materials
- Knowledge of durability evaluation for cementitious materials
- Experience setting up and conducting laboratory experiments
- Strong publication record
- Submit three letters of reference
- Complete all degree requirements before starting the appointment
- Obtain and maintain required employment credentialing
