About the Role
You will transcribe podcast episodes from Tamil audio into accurate, well-formatted written transcripts. You will ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting; identify speakers and structure dialogue clearly; edit and proofread transcripts for clarity; and meet assigned turnaround times. Payments are calculated based on total audio hours completed. Work is fully remote with a flexible schedule and a built-in time tracker available.
Requirements
- Fluency in Tamil (native or near-native preferred)
- Strong command of grammar, spelling, and written communication in Tamil
- Ability to understand different accents and varying audio quality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- 3 - 5 years experience
- Experience in audio transcription (podcasts, interviews, or similar content)
- Experience transcribing podcasts or media content
- Familiarity with transcription tools
- Experience with bilingual transcription or translation
