About the Role
You will own critical piping, pumping, drainage, and treatment systems. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain plumbing and mechanical equipment, manage work orders and emergency response, assess failures, and perform routine safety observations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ year of plumbing experience
- Ability to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing, climbing, bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
- Ability to work in dirty, noisy, or confined conditions
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, heating, water, and drainage systems
- Troubleshoot and service commercial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Install pressure vessels to OSHA certification standards
- Track multiple projects through the work-order system and respond to emergencies
- Maintain and repair facility plumbing systems
- Disassemble, inspect, report on, clean, and reassemble pumps and mechanical equipment
- Coordinate hands-on troubleshooting, assessment, maintenance, testing, and repair of pumps and mechanical equipment
- Ensure work and materials comply with manufacturer specifications
- Read and interpret schematics and complete applicable quality documentation
- Perform failure assessments and make recommendations to the supervisor
- Perform routine safety observations and inspections
