About the Role

You will maintain and improve the reliability and efficiency of platform systems under the guidance of senior technologists. You will improve service lifecycles, design and deliver software, manage capacity and disaster recovery, solve problems in mission-critical services, build automation, and collaborate with engineers, developers, traders, researchers, and analysts.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related science discipline
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
• Exposure to networking, Linux/Unix administration, systems performance, capacity planning, Kubernetes, Docker, or CI/CD tools
• Understanding of large-scale distributed systems
• Excellent scripting skills in Python and Bash

Responsibilities

• Improve the lifecycle of services from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement
• Design, write, and deliver software that improves service availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency
• Manage service capacity, performance, and disaster recovery
• Identify solutions to complex problems and advocate for their implementation
• Solve problems related to mission-critical services and build automation to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with systems and infrastructure engineers, software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts
