About the Role
You will conduct physical security evaluations at data facilities in your assigned region. You will document vulnerabilities, help ensure mitigation actions are implemented, and prepare reports on physical security posture. You will support reviews of security documentation, evaluate security technologies and measures, and keep leadership informed of stakeholder engagement, issues, and activities.
Requirements
- Be based in Texas or Oklahoma
- Know physical security best practices, security systems, investigation techniques, contract security guard management, incident management, access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance systems
- Know cloud computing concepts and data center environments
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
- Work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver assigned projects and tasks
- Produce professional reports and supporting metrics
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical security evaluations of data facilities within the assigned region
- Document vulnerabilities and ensure mitigation actions resolve security gaps
- Prepare evaluation reports and supporting documentation on physical security posture
- Review security documentation with security teams and customers
- Research and evaluate security technologies and measures for data facility environments
- Support the strategic direction of the Physical Security Program
- Keep Physical Security leadership informed of engagement status, issues, and activities
- Maintain relationships with industry professionals and equipment manufacturers
