Paralegal, Litigation

Skills

About the Role

You will own the intake processing and response workflow for legal requests from law enforcement, triaging and routing every incoming request with full pipeline visibility. You will partner cross-functionally with Law Enforcement Relations, Blockchain Intelligence, and Legal to coordinate responses and escalate novel or sensitive issues to the appropriate attorney. You will assist in providing litigation and regulatory support across the global enterprise, including matter tracking, document coordination, factual research, and attorney-ready summaries. You will build and maintain TRM’s legal AI infrastructure: prompt libraries, templates, playbooks, and knowledge-management systems that power the team’s velocity and allow attorneys to delegate routine matters with confidence. You will use AI research tools to support attorneys on relevant legal issues, preparing structured summaries that reduce attorney turnaround time on research-heavy matters. You will serve as a first point of contact for legal intake and cross-functional triage, helping ensure requests are routed quickly, status is visible, and stakeholders receive timely, actionable guidance. You will continuously identify and close workflow gaps — from matter intake to knowledge management — iterating on systems as TRM’s legal volume and complexity grow.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of paralegal or legal operations experience at a government agency, law firm, or in-house legal team, preferably supporting litigation, regulatory, law enforcement response, investigations, fintech, SaaS, or technology matters.
  • Experience managing legal intake, matter tracking, document workflows, litigation support, regulatory support, subpoenas, law enforcement requests, or similar high-volume legal operations processes.
  • Demonstrable AI fluency: you actively use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI research and drafting tools to accelerate legal research, summarize complex information, build reusable workflows, and improve team output.
  • Exceptional organizational skills: you own queues, maintain systems, track SLAs, follow through on open items, and proactively identify gaps before they become problems.
  • Strong written communication skills; able to translate legal concepts, procedural requirements, and factual findings into clear, actionable language for Legal, Law Enforcement Relations, Blockchain Intelligence, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • High-ownership mindset: you improve the processes you inherit, document what you build, and operate with the urgency TRM Speed requires.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive legal, law enforcement, investigative, regulatory, or litigation-related matters.
