About the Role

You'll join Carta Law's Funds team in the UK, working alongside embedded AI agents to deliver investor onboarding, transaction KYC, and high-volume legal work with speed and consistency. You will rotate across or specialise within one of three practice areas depending on your strengths and interests, building commercial and legal expertise over time with opportunities to take ownership of client accounts and progress towards qualification via the SQE route.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Law degree or equivalent preferred; a GDL is welcome
  • Prior exposure to LP Transfer processes is a plus but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Prepare initial drafts of LP transfer documents (transfer agreements, consents, subscription agreements)
  • Liaise with transfer parties on process and timings, and assist with execution workflows
  • Work closely with lawyers and senior paralegals, contributing to high-quality client delivery across fast-moving, high-volume matters
  • Build commercial and legal expertise over time, with opportunities to take ownership of client accounts and progress towards qualification via the SQE route
