About the Role

You will review individual and business onboarding cases, verify ownership and supporting documentation, and conduct enhanced due diligence and adverse-media research. You will investigate AML, fraud, and transaction-monitoring alerts; identify and escalate red flags; analyze account and transaction data; and document accurate case decisions.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in Risk Operations, AML, fraud, compliance, onboarding, or financial crime investigations
  • Experience with KYC and KYB reviews, including individual and business verification
  • Experience conducting enhanced due diligence and adverse-media screening
  • Experience investigating transaction-monitoring, AML, or fraud alerts
  • Ability to assess risk indicators, make recommendations, and escalate appropriately
  • Strong analytical and data-analysis skills
  • Excellent written English and ability to document clear case decisions
  • Ability to work independently, manage volume, and adapt to defined workflows

Responsibilities

  • Review customer onboarding cases, including KYC and KYB verification
  • Verify business ownership structures, beneficial owners, control persons, and supporting documentation
  • Conduct enhanced due diligence, adverse-media research, and risk-based reviews
  • Investigate AML, fraud, transaction-monitoring, and other risk alerts
  • Identify fraud and AML red flags and escalate cases appropriately
  • Analyze customer, account, and transactional data to support risk decisions
  • Document clear, accurate, and complete case notes, rationales, and decisions
  • Support customer and account reviews and other Risk Operations workflows
  • Work with the Risk and AML team in a regulated payments environment
