About the Role

You will plan and drive next-generation operational platforms and technology-enabled automation. You will identify structural business issues, design AI-centered automation platforms and IT solutions, manage development projects, coordinate business and engineering stakeholders, and promote AI adoption across the organization.

Requirements

  • Ownership and execution capability
  • Project promotion and cross-functional consensus-building skills
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of automation using RPA, scripts, ERP, or workflow management tools
  • Documentation skills for business flows, standard procedures, and knowledge materials
  • Experience identifying bottlenecks and improving business processes
  • Experience designing or operating BPO or offshore outsourcing
  • Ability to implement basic automation or data processing using Python, SQL, or VBA
  • Experience planning or delivering IT solutions from root-cause identification
  • Practical experience planning systems or managing full-scratch projects
  • Experience developing applications using large language model APIs, or strong willingness to learn
  • Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure
  • At least five years of practical software development experience for the development engineer track
  • Experience leading architecture design and technology selection
  • Experience defining requirements or managing products with business users
  • Business-level Japanese for the development engineer track

Responsibilities

  • Plan and design AI-enabled automation platforms
  • Drive development projects involving AI utilization
  • Manage and support multiple projects of varying scales
  • Plan and design IT solutions with a focus on AI
  • Promote AI adoption within the headquarters and across the company
  • Develop platforms using Python and low-code tools
  • Introduce machine-learning and AI models for automation and efficiency
  • Develop operational support tools using generative AI and natural language processing
  • Build and improve data integration platforms and ETL pipelines
  • Coordinate cross-functional work with engineers, data scientists, and business specialists
  • Redesign operational processes and automate systems
  • Create automation system requirements
  • Analyze business issues and needs
  • Coordinate quality, cost, and delivery with system development departments
