About DoubleZero Foundation
DoubleZero is a blockchain-coordinated, contributor-powered fiber network that provides dedicated low-latency connectivity rather than relying on public-internet routing. Its DoubleZero Edge product delivers Solana market data and validator shreds through multicast, serving trading firms, market makers, infrastructure providers, and validators. It also offers an experimental Geolocation Verification service that uses latency measurements and onchain-registered infrastructure to produce cryptographic location proofs for compliance, access control, and validator-location verification.

About the Role
You will design and operate large-scale, high-availability, low-latency networks. You will work with routing technologies such as BGP, EVPN, MPLS, and segment routing and implement carrier-grade routing architectures. You will build automation frameworks in Go and Python to manage network configuration, deployment, and monitoring. You will partner with hardware, protocol, and systems engineers to optimize for latency, reliability, and scale. You will debug real-world production network failures across physical and virtual layers.
Requirements
- CCIE or equivalent hands-on routing and switching expertise
- Strong experience in ISP carrier or backbone network environments
- Production Go and Python experience
- Deep understanding of routing protocols convergence and network failure modes
- Experience treating infrastructure as code and systems as software
- Preference for telecom ISP or infrastructure backgrounds
Responsibilities
