About the Role
You will set technical direction for evaluation systems, research infrastructure, and internal tooling. You will architect scalable evaluation frameworks, enable large-scale research experiments, own critical systems from design through reliable production operation, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Staff or Principal engineering experience
- Experience architecting and owning complex high-stakes systems
- Technical strategy and architecture leadership
- Experience with agentic coding tools
- Knowledge of ML systems and research workflows
- Correctness and reliability engineering
- Python
- TypeScript
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for evaluation systems, research infrastructure, and internal tooling
- Architect evaluation frameworks for diverse coding tasks
- Design infrastructure for large-scale research experiments
- Identify and deliver high-leverage engineering investments
- Bridge product and research to prioritize capabilities and measure progress
- Mentor engineers, review designs, and unblock peers
- Translate research questions into durable engineering solutions
- Own critical systems from architecture through production reliability
