About the Role

Prototype and build mobile proof-of-concept applications for computer vision research, implement presentation attack detection using mobile hardware, integrate native ML models and libraries through FFI, collaborate with ML engineers, build demonstration and data-collection tools, and deploy mobile solutions for secure image acquisition.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of mobile development experience across Android and iOS
  • Strong Android programming experience with Kotlin
  • Experience with native mobile APIs and system-level features
  • Experience with camera APIs and mobile sensor integration
  • Understanding of mobile development best practices and architecture patterns
  • Experience with Android tools and libraries including Android Studio, Gradle, Git, CameraX, Camera2, Android Sensor APIs, and Jetpack Compose
  • Experience with iOS tools and libraries including Swift, Xcode, AVFoundation, CoreImage, CoreMotion, and SwiftUI
  • Experience or familiarity with FFI and native integrations such as JNI, Swift/Objective-C bridging, and C/C++
  • Experience with image processing libraries such as OpenCV and ISP concepts
  • Familiarity with TensorFlow Lite or PyTorch Mobile
  • Strong problem-solving, technical curiosity, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Prototype and develop mobile proof-of-concept applications
  • Implement presentation attack detection using cameras, displays, sensors, and actuators
  • Integrate computer vision models and libraries through FFI
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to translate research into prototypes
  • Build demonstration applications and data-collection tools
  • Deploy mobile solutions for image acquisition and fraud detection
