About the Role

You will prototype and build mobile proof-of-concept applications to validate computer vision research. You will implement presentation attack detection by leveraging cameras, sensors, displays, and other hardware features. You will integrate native ML models and libraries via FFI, collaborate with ML engineers to translate research into working prototypes, build demonstration apps and data-collection tools, and help deploy mobile solutions that enable secure, high-quality image acquisition.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of mobile development experience, ideally across Android and iOS
  • Strong programming experience in Android with Kotlin
  • Experience with native mobile APIs and system-level features
  • Experience with camera APIs and mobile sensor integration
  • Solid understanding of mobile development best practices and architecture patterns
  • Experience with Android tools and libraries: Android Studio, Gradle, Git, CameraX, Camera2 API, Android Sensor APIs, Jetpack Compose
  • Experience with iOS tools and libraries: Swift, Xcode, AVFoundation, CoreImage, CoreMotion, SwiftUI
  • Experience or familiarity with FFI and native integrations (JNI, Swift/Objective-C bridging, C/C++)
  • Experience with image processing libraries such as OpenCV and ISP concepts
  • Familiarity with mobile ML runtimes like TensorFlow Lite or PyTorch Mobile
  • Strong problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, and effective communication with ML teams
