About the Role

Support the design, implementation, and optimization of compliance programs by transforming raw data into actionable insights, automating compliance workflows, enhancing BSA/AML models, deploying AI solutions, conducting ad hoc analyses, and improving compliance tools and processes.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in a data analytics or data science role
  • Strong understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency
  • Experience in the financial services industry or related compliance domains
  • Advanced SQL skills including CTEs, window functions, complex joins, and query optimization
  • Proficiency with Looker and advanced Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to write production-quality queries and operate autonomously
  • Experience with or strong interest in automation and AI tools
  • Strong understanding of systems and data flows

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of compliance programs
  • Transform raw data into actionable insights
  • Drive automation of compliance processes and workflows
  • Develop and enhance BSA/AML models including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk rating, and blockchain analytics
  • Contribute to process improvements, code review, testing frameworks, and documentation
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and respond to auditors, regulators, or Compliance teams
  • Coordinate with Product and Engineering to implement and improve compliance tools and processes
  • Present findings and data insights with appropriate context and visual aids
  • Manage competing priorities across strategic projects and urgent ad-hoc requests
