About the Role
Support the design, implementation, and optimization of compliance programs by transforming raw data into actionable insights, automating compliance workflows, enhancing BSA/AML models, deploying AI solutions, conducting ad hoc analyses, and improving compliance tools and processes.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a data analytics or data science role
- Strong understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency
- Experience in the financial services industry or related compliance domains
- Advanced SQL skills including CTEs, window functions, complex joins, and query optimization
- Proficiency with Looker and advanced Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to write production-quality queries and operate autonomously
- Experience with or strong interest in automation and AI tools
- Strong understanding of systems and data flows
Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of compliance programs
- Transform raw data into actionable insights
- Drive automation of compliance processes and workflows
- Develop and enhance BSA/AML models including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk rating, and blockchain analytics
- Contribute to process improvements, code review, testing frameworks, and documentation
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and respond to auditors, regulators, or Compliance teams
- Coordinate with Product and Engineering to implement and improve compliance tools and processes
- Present findings and data insights with appropriate context and visual aids
- Manage competing priorities across strategic projects and urgent ad-hoc requests
