About the Role
You will plan, execute, and document the integration and testing of spacecraft, rover, and lunar-infrastructure mechanical systems. You will develop procedures and test plans, design support tooling, operate test facilities, process test data, and prepare reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering
- Five or more years of experience integrating or testing complex electromechanical or fluid systems
- Technical writing, documentation, and planning experience
- CAD proficiency
- Lifecycle management tool proficiency
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Support design reviews from DFMA and DFT perspectives
- Develop test plans and assembly drawings
- Write integration and test procedures
- Prepare parts, tooling, schedules, and calibrated equipment for operations
- Design ground support equipment, fixtures, and assembly aids
- Conduct integration and test readiness reviews
- Execute integration and test procedures
- Operate shaker tables and thermal-vacuum chambers
- Process test data and write test reports
- Provide labor and cost estimates
- Support off-site testing operations
