About the Role
You will improve the reliability of construction robots operating in harsh field conditions. You will investigate failures, identify root causes, design and test fixes, validate them on site, and roll them out across the fleet. You will also define validation criteria, build reliability test rigs, and resolve maintenance pain points.
Requirements
- 2+ years of reliability and test engineering experience
- Experience with environmental and mechanical reliability testing
- Experience designing and building test rigs and conducting analysis
- Experience making and repairing electromechanical assemblies
- Experience shipping hardware from prototype to medium-series production
- Knowledge of GD&T and producing 2D and 3D drawings
Responsibilities
- Improve robot reliability and minimize deployment downtime
- Investigate field failures and identify root causes
- Design, test, validate, and deploy hardware fixes
- Define hardware validation criteria and build reliability test rigs
- Work with maintenance teams to identify and resolve maintenance pain points
