About the Role
You will design and develop robot hands, robotic systems, surrounding equipment, and robot-cell layouts. You will create concepts, perform evaluations for prototypes and mass production, design jigs and tools, manage quality-related work, and maintain drawings and design documentation. You will use physical and structural design knowledge to improve performance, durability, and reliability.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the four fundamental mechanics required for design calculations or knowledge of mechatronics
- Professional experience using 3D CAD tools such as Inventor, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or CATIA
- Experience proactively leading projects
- Practical experience creating drawings and managing design documents
- At least five years of experience designing and developing production equipment or automation equipment, designing equipment using servo motors or pneumatic equipment, or designing warehouse automation equipment such as conveyors and shuttles
