About the Role
You will lead on-site construction for a mission-critical data center. You will manage contractors and site relationships, oversee delivery from pre-construction through commissioning, coordinate field and technical work, manage change orders, track progress, mitigate risks, and maintain safety, quality, and schedule performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing large-scale data center or mission-critical construction projects
- Expertise in construction management, commissioning, and site operations
- Experience managing large programs with multiple vendors and dynamic priorities
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to pass drug, alcohol, and background checks
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds
Responsibilities
- Act as the senior construction representative for the data center
- Manage relationships with contractors, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Oversee project execution from pre-construction through commissioning and controls
- Coordinate vendors and field and technical teams
- Identify and mitigate delivery, safety, and operational risks
- Resolve roadblocks and maintain project timelines
- Align construction schedules with infrastructure goals
- Deliver KPI and dashboard updates
- Verify technical and quality standards
- Perform quantity take-offs and field verifications
- Manage change orders and control costs
- Lead site safety initiatives
