About the Role
You will collaborate with other undergraduate students on operationally relevant technical research projects. You will assess cryptographic algorithms, analyse complex datasets, develop statistical tools, research machine learning, programme high-performance computers and undertake mathematical research.
Requirements
- Study an undergraduate mathematics degree or joint honours degree with mathematics as the main component
- Have completed at least two taught years of the degree by June 2027
- Be on track to achieve a 2:1 qualification
- Have at least an A in A-level mathematics or equivalent
- Demonstrate sound mathematical ability
- Be a British citizen or hold dual British nationality
