About the Role
You will oversee daily warehouse and inventory operations, including receiving, storage, inventory transactions, material issuance, and production kitting. You will maintain accurate material records, reconcile discrepancies, translate production requirements into kit lists, monitor supply risks, and coordinate inbound freight and quality inspections. You will improve warehouse layouts and processes while collaborating with supply chain, engineering, production, manufacturing, suppliers, and deployment sites.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related role supporting hardware manufacturing
- Experience translating BOMs, work orders, or production schedules into material and kitting requirements
- Experience with receiving, inventory transactions, material issuance, cycle counts, and discrepancy reconciliation
- Proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel
- Experience using inventory management software or ERP/MRP tools
- Ability to prioritize materials work, identify risks, and improve inventory or warehouse processes
- Oral and written communication skills and cross-functional coordination ability
- Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 30 pounds
- US work authorization
Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory transactions, material issuance, and assembly-kit preparation
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and check-in and check-out procedures
- Convert BOMs, work orders, and manufacturing schedules into detailed kit lists
- Coordinate engineering changes, part revisions, stock availability, and build readiness with hardware engineering and build teams
- Identify inventory shortages, discrepancies, and supply risks and communicate schedule impacts
- Maintain organized storage and kitting layouts to support efficient retrieval, issuance, and replenishment
- Oversee inbound freight and shipments and organize incoming quality inspections
- Maintain material records in spreadsheets and inventory software and improve related processes
- Uphold material-handling, warehousing, and logistics protocols
