About the Role

You own the commercial and operational foundation of a marketplace. You design pricing frameworks, analyze margins, monitor supply and demand, establish vendor quality criteria, and guide supply growth. You create repeatable processes for launching new services, connect commercial data with costs, resolve billing and dispute questions, and use analysis and automation to improve marketplace performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations pricing or strategic finance
  • Experience designing pricing models commercial frameworks or margin-management systems
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Experience with Sigma Looker or Tableau
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders on commercial decisions with P&L impact
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to build frameworks from ambiguous unstructured problems
  • Familiarity with construction finance lending or real estate is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design pricing frameworks for new marketplace services
  • Lead pricing analysis and recommendations
  • Monitor take rate and margin performance
  • Diagnose and correct margin underperformance
  • Partner with Finance on cost-to-serve instrumentation
  • Monitor vendor supply by service geography and price point
  • Own vendor tiering and ratings criteria
  • Direct supply-growth priorities
  • Monitor service penetration and buyer utilization
  • Build repeatable frameworks for new-service launches
  • Standardize recurring operational processes
  • Coordinate commercial and operational decisions across functions
  • Resolve cross-side billing and dispute questions
  • Use AI and automation to improve workflows and decision-making
