About the Role

You'll join the UK, Ireland & Middle East Disputes practice as part of the Business Development team, working closely with the Senior BD Manager to support marketing and business development across Litigation & Arbitration and Regulatory & Investigations. You'll help raise the firm's profile through award entries, legal directory submissions and website and social media content, always keeping materials aligned with brand guidelines. You'll contribute to winning new work by helping produce proposals, coordinating with teams on content, editing, branding and pricing compliance, and tracking outcomes as a proposal process ambassador. You'll also research organisations, sectors and individuals to support business development efforts. You'll plan and run client events, both in-person and virtual, drafting invitations, managing logistics, building mailing lists and tracking ROI from sponsorships and post-event follow-ups. Finally, you'll support the design and delivery of marketing campaigns, working with the Digital Marketing team to roll out content online while ensuring brand compliance and ROI tracking. This is a 15-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, working in a hybrid model with two days a week in the Warsaw office.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a legal and/or professional services environment
  • Broad marketing and organisational experience
  • Experience managing the legal directories process preferable
  • Graduate calibre with a marketing or communications qualification such as CIM
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to manage expectations
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibility and deputise for line manager when required
  • Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to build trust amongst fee earning teams and wider stakeholder community

Responsibilities

  • Prepare award entries and legal directory submissions
  • Explore profile-raising opportunities
  • Maintain and update website and social media content with the Communications team
  • Ensure all materials follow brand and visual identity guidelines
  • Support production of proposals including content creation, editing, team coordination, branding and pricing compliance
  • Develop high-quality proposal materials with the Senior BD Manager and ensure consistent messaging
  • Act as a proposal process ambassador and track proposal outcomes
  • Conduct research on organisations, sectors and individuals
  • Assist in planning and executing client events, in-person and virtual
  • Draft invitations, manage logistics and create targeted mailing lists
  • Leverage sponsorships for client engagement and manage post-event follow-ups including ROI tracking
  • Support development and delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Draft and design marketing content for internal and external use
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team on online rollout ensuring brand compliance and ROI tracking
