About the Role
You will lead end-to-end manufacturing test strategy from board assembly through rack integration and system validation. You will manage Manufacturing Test Engineers, develop test infrastructure and capacity plans, partner with JDM providers, monitor quality metrics, and drive corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline
- 10+ years of manufacturing test engineering, production engineering, or hardware manufacturing experience
- 3+ years of engineering management experience
- Experience with high-volume server, storage, networking, or AI infrastructure manufacturing
- Experience developing test strategies from L6 through L11 manufacturing
- Experience with JDM, ODM, or contract manufacturing partners
- ICT and MDA expertise
- Board functional testing
- System and rack-level manufacturing testing
- Manufacturing diagnostics
- Linux-based manufacturing environments
- Automated manufacturing test systems
- Server hardware architecture knowledge
- Firmware, BIOS/BMC, networking, and power systems knowledge
Responsibilities
- Define and own manufacturing test strategy from L6 board assembly through L11 rack integration
- Develop standardized manufacturing test methodologies
- Establish manufacturing test standards and processes
- Lead, mentor, and develop Manufacturing Test Engineers
- Set team priorities and allocate resources
- Lead Design for Test and Design for Manufacturability reviews
- Own manufacturing test coverage reviews
- Serve as technical interface with JDM partners
- Review and approve manufacturing test plans
- Define test infrastructure and manufacturing capacity plans
- Monitor manufacturing quality metrics
- Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions
