About the Role
You will lead day-to-day execution at a Taiwan contract manufacturer, supporting package assembly and server construction. You will plan capacity and production schedules, monitor factory performance, coordinate production transitions, resolve manufacturing issues, and communicate production risks and status to regional stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data-center product manufacturing operations, OPM, contract manufacturing, or TPM roles
- Experience working with Tier 1 contract manufacturers in Taiwan or Asia-based fabs
- Ability to travel regularly to the factory
- Mandarin and English communication proficiency
- Escalation management, cross-time-zone coordination, and timeline enforcement skills
- Engineering background in electrical, mechanical, or packaging domains
- Experience with mass-production ramp planning or cost-of-yield improvement initiatives
Responsibilities
- Own manufacturing execution for L6, L10, and L11 production at the Taiwan contract manufacturer
- Serve as the communication bridge between the factory and cross-functional teams
- Lead capacity planning and develop mass-production ramp scenarios
- Develop and execute weekly production schedules
- Oversee SMT, mechanical assembly, and test performance
- Resolve manufacturing and technical issues, including DFM improvements and yield optimization
- Coordinate NPI builds, production ramps, ECOs, and process changes
- Track build progress, escalate risks, and drive corrective actions
