About the Role
You will investigate manufacturing sites, analyze processes, workflows, logistics, and equipment utilization, and identify bottlenecks. You will design future process, line, layout, staffing, equipment, and material-flow plans; validate capacity where needed; facilitate customer workshops; and coordinate implementation with automation teams.
Requirements
- Practical experience in production engineering, process design, line design, or factory improvement in manufacturing
- Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing processes and site operations
- Experience organizing issues through data or onsite observation
- Experience advancing improvement activities with internal and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Investigate factories, production lines, and work processes
- Analyze work, processes, workflows, logistics, and equipment utilization
- Identify bottlenecks and organize improvement themes
- Design processes, production lines, and layouts
- Create future-state staffing, equipment, and material-flow plans
- Conduct production simulations and capacity validation when needed
- Facilitate customer workshops and build agreement
- Coordinate with automation and equipment implementation teams
