About the Role
You will own manufacturing processes from prototype through production for critical robotic components and assemblies. You will develop machining, assembly, inspection, validation, tooling, CAM, and automation processes; improve quality and throughput; support NPI and production ramps; and maintain process controls, quality metrics, and production documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience supporting precision mechanical or electromechanical products
- Experience with CAM programming, fixture design, tooling development, and precision machining
- Understanding of Design for Manufacturability and production process development
- Experience integrating electromechanical assemblies into production
- Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack analysis, CMM inspection, and precision measurement
- Experience collaborating with design engineering, quality, production, and supply chain
- Proficiency with CAD tools, PLM systems, ERP systems, and manufacturing documentation workflows
Responsibilities
- Develop and release scalable manufacturing processes for robotic components and assemblies
- Improve cycle time, first-pass yield, and process reliability
- Design and deploy fixtures, tooling, CAM programs, inspection methods, and automation solutions
- Support NPI programs from prototype builds through production ramp
- Establish and maintain process controls, quality metrics, and documentation
