About the Role

You will manage Upvest's settlement and transfer processes across all markets, acting as the subject matter expert responsible for clearing, settlement and transfer processes for PEA's in the French market. You'll build relationships with the operational teams of clients, assisting them in supporting their end-users with PEA related queries, while contributing to building a best-in-class product. You'll optimise workflows, contribute to the implementation of automation and AI to define the French client experience, and design operational improvements while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. You'll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Treasury and other teams to support efficient processes, participate in projects aimed at scaling French settlement and transfer operations, and monitor key metrics to provide insights that support business decisions.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience with PEA transfers and the French post trade market
  • Deep understanding of market rules and best practices
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills; ability to identify and solve errors
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • French native fluent in English - both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
  • Experience in data analysis and process automation using data visualization tools, SQL, Python, or similar
  • Experience with the EEA (Europe and UK) transfer and settlement procedure (e.g. ISAs, SIPPs)

Responsibilities

  • Manage Upvest's settlement and transfer processes across all markets
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Upvest's clearing, settlement and transfer processes for PEA's in the French market
  • Build relationships with the operational teams of clients and assist them in supporting end-users with PEA related queries
  • Contribute to building a best-in-class product
  • Optimise workflows and contribute to the implementation of automation and AI to define the French client experience
  • Design operational improvements while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies
  • Address potential risks to support reliable and secure operations
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Treasury and other teams to support efficient processes
  • Participate in projects aimed at scaling French settlement and transfer operations
  • Monitor key metrics related to settlement and transfers, providing insights to support business decisions and improve performance
