About the Role

You will own complex revenue streams and convert deal information into auditable accounting processes. You will analyze agreements, apply US GAAP including ASC 606 and ASC 842, guide cross-functional teams, operationalize accounting assessments, lead revenue-related month-end close activities, manage audit support, and improve controls and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA required
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Expertise in US GAAP, ASC 606, and ASC 842
  • Contract review and analysis skills
  • Ability to research technical accounting topics and document accounting memos
  • Experience operationalizing accounting processes and implementing controls
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Stripe, or equivalent ERP and billing systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret complex agreements
  • Provide US GAAP conclusions for complex revenue streams
  • Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Sales Operations, Product, and Finance teams
  • Research and apply relevant GAAP guidance
  • Document accounting positions
  • Translate technical accounting assessments into operational processes
  • Lead revenue-related month-end close activities
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors
  • Improve internal controls, data integrity, and automation
