About the Role
Manage crypto accounting activities for crypto-native entities, including digital asset reconciliations, IFRS journal entries, financial statements, close support, controls, system implementation, audit support, and monitoring of regulatory and accounting developments.
Requirements
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent
- Knowledge of IFRS principles and regulations relevant to crypto assets
- Working knowledge of crypto transaction flows, wallets, exchanges, and DeFi protocols
- Strong Excel and reconciliation skills
- Finance, ERP, or crypto accounting system implementation experience
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach to resolving discrepancies
- Clear communication skills for explaining crypto concepts
- Collaborative and independent working style
- SQL and Python experience for data extraction and analysis
- Prior crypto-native, Web3, or digital asset finance experience is preferred
- Interest in blockchain, Web3, and digital entertainment
Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliations of digital asset holdings and transactions
- Prepare and post IFRS journal entries for crypto transactions
- Deliver ad hoc financial statements for crypto-native entities
- Prepare digital asset schedules, accruals, and close documentation
- Improve the month-end close process and internal controls
- Support crypto accounting system implementation through testing and data validation
- Translate crypto transaction flows into finance-ready processes
- Respond to audit requests and prepare supporting documentation
- Monitor regulatory, tax, and IFRS developments affecting crypto
