About the Role
You will reconcile digital asset holdings and transactions, prepare crypto journal entries under IFRS, and produce financial statements for crypto-native entities. You will support close activities, improve controls, assist with accounting-system implementation, document transaction flows, and prepare audit support.
Requirements
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent
- IFRS accounting principles and regulations relevant to crypto assets
- Crypto transaction flows, wallets, exchanges, and DeFi protocols
- Excel and reconciliation skills
- Finance, ERP, or crypto accounting system implementation experience
- SQL
- Python
- Data analytics
- Crypto-native, Web3, or digital asset finance experience
- Blockchain, Web3, and digital entertainment knowledge
Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliations of digital asset holdings and transactions
- Prepare and post journal entries for crypto transactions in accordance with IFRS
- Deliver ad hoc financial statements for crypto-native entities
- Prepare digital asset schedules, accruals, and supporting documentation for financial closes
- Streamline and optimise the month-end close process
- Support crypto accounting system implementation through testing, data validation, and workflow documentation
- Translate crypto transaction flows into finance-ready processes
- Respond to audit requests and prepare supporting documentation
- Monitor regulatory, tax, and IFRS developments affecting crypto
