About the Role
You will measure and optimize the effectiveness of Sportsbook promotional spend. You will deliver executive-level reporting as the single source of truth for campaign performance, run exploratory analyses to identify optimization opportunities, and generate insights and recommendations for cross-functional partners. You will develop a deep understanding of how generosity is distributed, experiment to measure its impact, and collaborate closely with Data Science teams. You will present accurate insights through clear visualizations, leverage AI to enhance your work, manage project timelines, and help train junior team members.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of previous Analytics experience
- Expert in SQL and comprehensive experience manipulating large datasets in Microsoft Excel
- Strong data driven storytelling and data visualization skills
- Advanced knowledge of at least one data visualization tool (Tableau a plus)
- Strong knowledge of at least one statistical or programming language a plus, ideally Python
- Undergraduate degree in a numerate or technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Knowledge of sports is a plus
- Interest or experience in the sports betting industry is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Deliver executive-level reporting on campaign performance and generosity spend
- Identify opportunities and propose hypotheses to optimize campaign performance through exploratory analysis
- Generate insights and recommendations for cross-functional partners to maximize promotion value
- Develop deep understanding of generosity distribution and experimentation
- Collaborate with Data Science teams to evolve measurement of generosity spend effectiveness
- Present insights using clear visualizations and explanations of results, methods, biases and limitations
- Leverage AI to accelerate work while managing AI risk of error
- Plan and manage project timelines with precision
- Assist in training and developing junior team members
