About the Role
You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, test experimental hardware, maintain robotics-lab equipment, and document installation and commissioning procedures. You will perform preventive maintenance, enforce safety practices, coordinate with other departments, and maintain repair and parts records.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of related maintenance, electronic installation, or service experience, or military electrical/mechanical experience
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Electrical experience
- Basic SolidWorks experience
- Industrial-machinery fabrication experience
- Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Test experimental hardware with engineering and research staff
- Help create and enforce safety practices
- Document installation and commissioning procedures
- Coordinate with machine learning, software, sales, and support functions
- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on robotics and control systems
- Maintain repair logs and parts-consumption records
