About the Role
You will contribute to the Rust-based xet-core open-source project and the hf-xet Python library. You will design, build, and operate features for the Xet Storage backend, helping deliver scalable, robust systems for large-scale storage services.
Requirements
- 8+ years building and scaling distributed systems, storage, or networking infrastructure.
- Proficiency in a low-level systems language, with Rust strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a high-trust, low-process environment and take end-to-end ownership.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, asynchronous, fully remote environment.
- Experience building simple, robust, scalable systems.
