About the Role
You will run replenishment and min/max inventory levels, purchase equipment and consumables for new sites, and negotiate vendor terms. You will translate consumption and build data into forecasts and purchase plans, and establish buying standards, preferred vendors, and ordering thresholds.
Requirements
- Manage min/max levels and replenishment across multiple sites or a high-volume operation.
- Negotiate vendor pricing, payment terms, lead times, and service levels.
- Manage national and local suppliers.
- Buy for a new facility or site launch.
- Work with operations, warehousing, finance, and engineering.
- Make purchasing decisions using consumption history, lead times, and vendor performance.
Responsibilities
- Run auto-replenishment and min/max levels across sites.
- Buy equipment and consumables for new site launches.
- Negotiate vendor pricing, payment terms, lead times, and service levels.
- Create forecasts and purchase plans from consumption data and build schedules.
- Build buying playbooks, standard catalogs, preferred-vendor lists, and ordering thresholds.
