About the Role

You will design, develop, analyze, integrate, test, and support liquid propulsion systems throughout their lifecycle. You will perform propulsion analyses and trade studies, maintain technical documentation, support hardware testing and production, and communicate technical findings across engineering disciplines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field with 4 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with 2 years; or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • 4–10 years of professional experience in liquid propulsion, rocket propulsion, aerospace, defense, turbomachinery, fluid systems, or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, combustion, pressure systems, fluid system design, and propulsion performance
  • Experience with engineering analyses, models, calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, or documentation
  • Experience supporting hardware development, integration, testing, qualification, manufacturing, or production troubleshooting
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance if required
  • Must be a U.S. Person under applicable export regulations

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support liquid propulsion systems, components, and subsystems
  • Perform propulsion engineering analyses and trade studies
  • Develop and maintain engineering models, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Support propulsion hardware integration, testing, qualification, and hot-fire activities
  • Analyze test data and support troubleshooting and failure investigations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, supplier interactions, and configuration management
  • Resolve manufacturing technical issues and implement design improvements
