About the Role

You will design, configure, and implement Linux infrastructure upgrades and changes. You will administer servers and services, resolve complex performance, stability, and security issues, support data-center deployments and migrations, build automation, monitor systems, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Proficiency administering Linux systems, including CentOS, Debian, and Ubuntu
  • Systems-level troubleshooting and analysis experience
  • Familiarity with Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting web servers, databases, caching solutions, and firewalls
  • Understanding of Linux utilities, system tooling, server architecture, application architecture, and security hardening
  • Understanding of distributed storage, virtualization, load balancing, and core networking

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement Linux system upgrades and infrastructure changes
  • Administer and maintain Linux servers and services
  • Diagnose and resolve complex performance, stability, and security issues
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for Linux issues
  • Support data-center deployments, system configuration, and application readiness
  • Perform application and system migrations
  • Monitor system performance and security posture
  • Develop automation, scripts, and tooling
  • Maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and operational standards
  • Collaborate on platform reliability and scalability
