About the Role

You will manage and secure regulatory licence application projects across multiple jurisdictions. You will lead regulatory examinations and audits, review and analyse application completeness and accuracy, and monitor licence expirations and regulatory deadlines. You will partner with business and technical stakeholders to implement process improvements, handle compliance queries, update KYC in line with application status, identify efficiency opportunities and escalate control deficiencies, and support teams across departments on varied compliance and licence-related tasks.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in global compliance across multiple jurisdictions in financial services or cryptocurrency industries
• 7+ years project management experience with excellent organisation skills
• Legal qualification desirable but not essential; strong legal reasoning
• Working knowledge of AML requirements, sanctions, and consumer risks; familiarity applying compliance frameworks to crypto assets and products
• Excellent judgment and analytical capacity to research complex multi-jurisdictional laws and provide concise recommendations
• Very good understanding of AML and sanctions programs and applicable legislation across jurisdictions
• Good understanding of global securities law and ability to research legislation for licence applications
• Self-motivated, critical and analytical thinker; adept at working independently and remotely
• Excellent presentation and communication skills

• Lead regulatory examinations and audits of licenses

• Develop process improvements to ensure product compliance
• Handle compliance queries from business and support functions
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and escalate control deficiencies
• Liaise with technical team on regulatory and compliance changes
• Manage and update KYC in line with application status
• Support teams across departments on varied compliance tasks
