About the Role

You will inspect computing equipment, identify potential infrastructure and performance issues, and diagnose miners using manufacturer and internal software. You will help maintain site hashrate, replace failed equipment, complete prioritized tasks, support R&D activities, and keep the work area and computing fleet clean and safe.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; vocational diploma in electronics or computer science is an asset
  • At least 6 months of experience, preferably in a similar field
  • Valid driver's license and a vehicle for work-related travel
  • Ability to perform material-handling tasks to move miners

Responsibilities

  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential infrastructure condition and performance issues
  • Diagnose miners using manufacturer and internal software to maintain high site hashrate
  • Attend daily meetings with the lead technician and complete planned tasks according to priorities and temperature
  • Diagnose and replace failed equipment
  • Participate in research and development of new technologies
  • Keep work areas clean and ensure the safety of the computing fleet
  • Perform related duties as needed
