About the Role
You will build and lead legal and regulatory capabilities, develop and implement regulatory strategy, and oversee compliance policies, reporting, and regulatory requirements. You will partner with product and strategy functions, monitor MiCAR and crypto-asset developments, and manage privacy and data-security policies.
Requirements
- Ability to translate complex legal and regulatory concepts into practical action
- At least 5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles
- Knowledge of the Financial Market Authority and its regulations
- Legal expertise in a fintech or financial services environment, relevant consultancy, or law firm
- Ability to manage a diverse workload and meet strict deadlines independently
- Experience managing financial-services licensing applications and working with supervisory authorities preferred
- Experience with MiCAR, MiFID II, securities compliance, or payment and e-money institutions preferred

- Build and develop the legal and regulatory team
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regulatory strategy
- Guide regulatory challenges and shape compliance and legal frameworks
- Ensure high-quality reporting for local supervisory authorities and auditors
- Oversee and implement compliance and regulatory strategies
- Define and implement compliance and regulatory policies
- Collaborate with product and strategy teams on new product development
- Monitor regulatory developments, especially MiCAR and crypto assets
- Manage privacy and data security policies
