About the Role
You will act as the primary legal adviser in Singapore, providing legal expertise, advice, and execution support for commercial initiatives. You will advise on regulatory matters, contracts, product expansion, financing, governance, risk controls, and corporate and commercial issues while working with local and global stakeholders.
Requirements
- Singapore-qualified financial markets or financial services lawyer
- At least 10 years of experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house
- Experience with ISDA contractual frameworks
- Experience with equity derivatives products
- Working knowledge of financial services and regulatory principles relevant to Singapore markets
- Strong legal problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work semi-independently and across borders
Responsibilities
- Advise on legal structuring, risk assessments, regulatory matters, product approvals, and contracts
- Onboard financial intermediaries and counterparties
- Negotiate and draft software, IT supply, and market data contracts
- Support OTC product expansion and execution
- Advise on financing arrangements and regulatory interpretation
- Provide corporate, commercial, employment, intellectual property, and data privacy advice
- Contribute to risk frameworks, document management, reporting, process improvements, policy design, and governance
