About the Role
You will design, maintain, and govern Treasury policies and end-to-end Flow of Funds documentation across products, legal entities, and funding structures. You will partner with product and control functions throughout the product lifecycle, ensure governance and regulatory readiness, improve documentation standards, and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
Requirements
- Significant Treasury experience
- Experience in fintech, digital banking, or retail banking
- Understanding of payment flows
- Understanding of safeguarding
- Understanding of liquidity management
- Understanding of Treasury operations
- Experience developing Treasury policies
- Experience developing governance frameworks or operational procedures
- Experience producing and maintaining Flow of Funds documentation
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
- Experience supporting regulated financial services product launches
- Understanding of payment schemes, acquiring, issuing, lending, and customer funds
- Knowledge of FCA or equivalent regulatory expectations
- Experience with international or multi-entity Treasury structures
Responsibilities
- Own the Treasury policy framework
- Develop and maintain Treasury policies, standards, procedures, and governance documentation
- Document and embed Treasury controls
- Coordinate policy approvals
- Maintain the policy review programme
- Oversee remediation of policy gaps
- Lead Flow of Funds documentation
- Produce Flow of Funds diagrams
- Maintain documentation for products, payment journeys, and legal entities
- Ensure documentation reflects operational processes and funding structures
- Act as the Treasury subject matter expert during governance, audits, and regulatory reviews
- Partner with Product Managers throughout product development
- Challenge product designs for operational efficiency and compliance
- Represent Treasury in product governance forums
- Build relationships across business functions
- Provide Treasury expertise on new initiatives and strategic projects
- Establish Treasury documentation standards
- Improve Treasury processes and governance
- Support regulatory and audit requests
