About the Role
You will own the technical surface across data ingestion quantitative research and live trading systems. You will set engineering standards review designs remove unnecessary complexity and make build-versus-buy decisions. You will be accountable for system reliability and work with leadership on technical strategy compute allocation and platform support for research.
Requirements
- 7+ years of engineering experience at top-tier quantitative trading firms
- Production ownership of research or trading infrastructure
- Deep systems knowledge across infrastructure ML CI/CD and ETL
- First-principles systems engineering
- Fluency in Python
- Comfort with systems languages
- Track record of designing maintainable systems
- Excellent written communication
- Extreme ownership
- Strong judgment about technical scope
