About the Role
You will lead technical reliability work, mentor engineers, and set standards for incident management, automation, and performance. You will build resilient cloud environments, improve on-call operations, develop tooling, optimize performance and cost, strengthen monitoring and security, and provide SRE input throughout software delivery.
Requirements
- 8+ years in a senior-level Site Reliability Engineering or similar role
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years managing people or teams, leading projects, and troubleshooting distributed cloud systems
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform
- Knowledge of networking, security principles, and SRE practices
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
Responsibilities
- Lead technical reliability practices and mentor engineers
- Implement and maintain resilient cloud architectures
- Monitor performance and resolve bottlenecks and failure points
- Participate in on-call rotation and improve incident management processes
- Develop automation scripts, tools, and deployment processes
- Optimize infrastructure and applications for performance, scalability, and cost
- Collaborate on security and compliance practices
- Design monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and on-call playbooks
- Participate in system design and launch reviews
