About the Role
You will lead the security program by assessing systems, prioritizing risks, investigating incidents, and driving remediation. You will build security tooling and controls, define secure-development standards, evaluate SaaS risks, and advise technical leaders on practical security decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 8–10 years of software or infrastructure engineering experience
- 5+ years of security engineering, application security, or security architecture experience
- Experience conducting security and compliance audits and implementing or assessing controls
- Experience with NIST 800-171
- Ability to address ambiguous, high-stakes security problems
- Ability to translate technical risks into actionable recommendations
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain security policies, standards, and system security plans
- Maintain and prioritize security investments
- Conduct security assessments across cloud infrastructure, ML pipelines, and application code
- Investigate security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive remediation
- Build tooling for security compliance, observability, and governance
- Define security standards and secure-development practices
- Evaluate SaaS platforms for vendor risk, access, data handling, and isolation
- Advise leaders on actionable security risk management
