About the Role

You'll drive the cross-functional execution that brings the Cari Network to life, orchestrating complex programs across engineering, risk and compliance, product, and operations. As a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, you'll keep every team aligned, informed, and moving forward. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and partner closely with leaders across engineering, product, operations, and risk and compliance. You'll own end-to-end planning and execution of complex programs, build the project management practices and tooling the organization needs as it scales, and provide clear updates on program health to leadership, escalating issues early and proposing paths to resolution.

Requirements

  • U.S.-based with the ability to travel as needed to support partners and internal teams
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8–12 years of project or program management experience delivering cross-functional technology initiatives, ideally within financial services, fintech, or a similar regulated environment
  • Proven success managing and delivering cross-functional programs in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
  • Exceptional internal client management and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust, manage expectations, and keep diverse stakeholders aligned
  • Strong command of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches) and the judgment to apply them pragmatically
  • Working knowledge of bank payments, technology integrations, and the risk and compliance considerations inherent to regulated financial products
  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences and to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively
  • Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end planning and execution of complex, interdependent programs spanning engineering, product, operations and risk and compliance—managing scope, schedule, dependencies, and risk from initiation through delivery
  • Coordinate engineers, product managers, operations staff and compliance and risk partners toward shared milestones, removing blockers and maintaining momentum across concurrent workstreams
  • Act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders across teams—understanding their needs, managing expectations, and ensuring delivery teams stay aligned to shared goals
  • Build and operate project management practices, tooling, and reporting cadences including status reporting, risk and issue tracking, RAID logs, and decision-making frameworks
  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely updates on program health, milestones, dependencies, and risks to the Cari leadership team, escalating issues early and proposing paths to resolution

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation: salary, bonus and equity
  • Full medical, vision, dental benefits
  • 401(k) with matching program
  • Flexible vacation policy (PTO)
  • Remote-first work environment
