About the Role
You will build financial models, forecasts, budgets, dashboards, and executive reporting. You will analyze program performance and cost trends, support EAC updates and financial close activities, partner with operational teams, and improve financial processes through automation and scalable reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A
- Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis skills
- Knowledge of US GAAP in a government contracting or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of cost accounting and government contract structures including T&M, CPFF, and FFP
- Power BI and data visualization experience
- Knowledge of financial statements and business metrics
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning
- Analyze trends and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
- Support program health, spending trends, and headcount planning
- Develop KPI dashboards and reporting cadences using Power BI and Excel
- Support month-end and quarter-end close, variance analysis, and executive reporting
- Support planning cycles, business reviews, and investment decisions
- Support data transformation and modeling initiatives
- Identify automation and efficiency opportunities in financial reporting
- Monitor inventory, material movement, usage, and cost trends
- Monitor actuals versus plan, identify risks and opportunities, and support EAC updates
